In May 2026, National Sawmills travelled to London to support a public timber conversion demonstration alongside YesMake, Resolve Collective, Tipping Point East, Central Saint Martins and Zetteler.
On the 23rd of May, we’re attempting something we believe has never been done before in the UK. We will be milling what is potentially the largest piece of timber ever processed in Britain when diameter and length are considered together.
National Sawmills will be running a live timber demonstration in London on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of May, in collaboration with YesMake, Central Saint Martins, C40 Cities, and Plashet School.
