The Peterson ATS (All Terrain Sawmill) is designed for operation in remote locations and rough terrain, making it the best portable sawmill available for transportation in and out of secluded milling sites.
It meets our customers’ demands for a lightweight, highly portable, durable and rust-resistant sawmill that can handle tough conditions. Its uncomplicated design ensures that breakdowns and repairs are rare. The ATS uses a raised track system, allowing the mill to be assembled on nearly any terrain type.
Left and right tracks are raised and lowered with both winches at the operator’s end for ease of use. Additional crank handles allow you to adjust to log taper easily, meaning more efficient cutting and greater recovery from your log. An ATS makes milling valuable wood in hard-to-reach areas easy and profitable.

Both vertical sizing winches on the ATS are at the operator's end to minimise walking time, unlike imitation models that position winches at each end.
It can be packed into nearly anywhere, and the raised track system allows you to set-up on nearly any terrain. The frame system allows for oversized logs up to 6' (1.8m) in diameter.
By adding a Peterson Clip On Chainsaw Slabber, you can produce high value slabs with the same machine that mills dimensional timber, right in the middle of the forest.
